Fela did not die of AIDS, he was killed by Abacha – Majek Fashek

Majek-FashekTVC E. Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly known as Majek Fashek, has said his friend, Afro-beat legend Fela Kuti was killed by former military president Sani Abacha.

Majek Fashek, who was on TVC Entertainment’s breakfast show #YourViewTVC, claims Fela did not die of HIV/AIDS as believed in some quarters.

Fela did not die of AIDS, He was injected by Abacha,” he said during the program on Friday.

 On Fela’s legacy, the “Rainmaker,” said the Afro-beat icon saw the future and had predicted recent happenings in Nigeria.
“Fela Anikulapo is a prophet; everything he sang about then is happening now, the more reason we have a bond,” he said.
The “Send Down The Rain” crooner also disclosed that he was not checked into a rehab, rather he went into seclusion.
” I did not go to rehab, i went to seclusion, i had to go into seclusion because people were tapping into my spiritual intellect.”
“My future is the hand of God because I am a spiritual person, i didn’t take their drugs i used the Holy Spirit,” he added.
He further revealed that he had a romantic affair with late American RnB legend Whitney Houston. Whitney passed on tragically in 2012.

“Whitney Houston was on drugs and yes i was in a relationship with her”

On his family, Majek said his wife is abroad and his 3 sons are into Hip Hop.

“I have 3 boys and they are all gangstars and they are into Hip Pop, i am still secluding so you can call me a Monk’.”
