NPFL: Five new players arrive 3SC camp Monday

TVCE (SOCCER) – Ibadan based Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) will beef up its squad with additional five players, the club official has said.

A top source at the club’s camp in Ibadan said the players will include four players and one goalkeeper.

It is understood that the club is planning to retain 24 out of its old players.

“Normalcy has returned into the team and we know where we are going now. We have contacted five players that will be added to the bulk of 24 players retained. They will resume camping on Monday God’s willing,” a source told SportingLife.

Meanwhile, the General Manager of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Rasheed Balogun had on Monday during a press conference in Ibadan stressed that their outstanding players like Ajani Ibrahim, Cletus Itodo, Alaba Osawe, Jamiu Alimi, Seun Akinyemi, Babatunde Bright, Suraj Sodiq, Afesso Attah, Ebiaku, Sunday Adetunji, Adamu Mohammed, Yinka Adedeji and Ibrahim Salau will not leave the club for any price.

 He officially confirmed that Tope Orelope, Kelly Kester have moved to Enyimba FC while Abiodun Akande joined Sunshine Stars.

The GM has, however, confirmed the exit of coach Gbenga Ogunbote to Giwa FC and wish him best of luck and said a new technical adviser will be named as soon as possible if need be.
