TVC to broadcast 2016 Lagos City Marathon live

Lagos-City-Marathon2TVC E, SPORTS – The 2016 Lagos City Marathon is set to hold on Saturday, the 6th of February and Nigeria’s most reliable TV station TVC News Nigeria will be on ground to cover the event.

Themed ”Let’s Run Lagos,” the race will start at the entrance of the National Stadium, Surulere, at 7AM  and climax at the Eko Atlantic Site in Victoria Island, Lagos.

31 elite runners from 8 countries will participate in the race which will also broadcast live on TVC News Nigeria’s sister channel TVC Entertainment.

The top runners include 24 men and seven women marathoners. Among these marathoners are 11 men who have won IAAF gold label and 9 are from Kenya.

TVC News Nigeria and TVC Entertainment’s wall-to-wall coverage of the race will include live commentary, interviews with the racers and an exclusive chat with the winners at the finishing line.

There will also be real-time updates as the race progresses across all TVC’s social media platforms vis-a-vis Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Tvc News Nigeria is live on DSTV channel 418 and Consat Channel 190. You can also watch the race live at www.tvcentertainment.tv.

The Lagos Marathon just like the Dubai Marathon was put together to boost the country’s economy and to showcase Lagos State as the city of excellence to the rest of the world.
