Lagos schoolgirls’ abductors demand #60m ransom

TVC E, NEWS – Kidnappers of three abducted female students of Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary School in Ikorodu, Lagos state on Wednesday demanded the sum of 20 million naira each to secure their release.

This is coming few hours after the state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, Lagos state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni and Assistant Inspector General of Police, Lagos/Ogun Command, visited the scene of the incident.

Ambode had in a statement issued on Wednesday assured of his government’s readiness to ensure safe and quick release of the abducted school girls.

Meanwhile, principal of the school were the girls were abducted has accused journalists of compounding the whole issue.
