TVC E. Kim Kardashian has just won the biggest award ever known as the ‘Webby Awards’
The Webby Awards is a ceremony meant to honour the biggest game-changers the internet has to offer and it is basically the equivalent of the Oscars for online media instead of movies.
The keeping up with the Kardashian (KUWTK) reality star who has famously broken the internet uncountable times with nude pictures of herself has now become the first recipient to receive the ‘Break The Internet Award’
The award categories include things like online entrepreneur of the year, which Jessica Alba won, online social movement of the year(#Blacklivesmatter), and best actress in an online series which went to Krysten Ritter.
Kim Kardashian, the Mother of two- has over 70 million instagram followers, 48 million twitter followers and a huge successful mobile game. Given her online credentials, it was no surprise that she was celebrated for her bold and creative use of online platforms.
When presented with the award,the reality star had nothing but these five -words acceptance speech ”Nude Selfies Until I Die”
Vowing to stay naked in front of the camera until her dying day!
Kim’s speech at the 2016 Webby Awards confirms the reality star’s stance that she will never give up her cause, even if she must endure adversity from fellow celebs, such as Chloe Grace Moretz, Bette Midler, and Piers Morgan, as well as millions of social media users, who feel what she is doing is rude and disgraceful.
It sounds like the Kardashian feels it is her responsibility as America’s biggest role model for young women to establish a new norm in which women are not afraid to freely show off their bodies, as long as they look like Kim Kardashian’s.
