Judge handling Nyako, Saraki, Ekwerenmadu & other cases dies

TVC E. Steven Evoh Chukwu, A Federal High Court judge handling major cases including the trial of former Adamawa State Governor, Murtala Nyako and his two sons, and cases instituted by five Senators led by Abu Ibrahim, seeking to void the election that produced Bukola Saraki and Ike Ekweremadu as Senate President and Deputy President, has died.

Report has it that, the judge died early Wednesday, 8th June in an hospital in Garki, Abuja, after a brief illness. Although the court’s management failed to issue a formal statement about judge’s death, many officials of the court confirmed the development.
