Flavour gives back to his community, donates food items to widows in Enugu

Not one to forget his roots, highlife singer Flavour remembered his humble beginnings as he gave back to his community, donating food items to widows in Enugu. Flavour who started out as a drummer in a local church in the state but has now gone on to become one of Africa’s biggest music stars with several endorsements to his name, embarked on the gesture on July 7.

Donating items like rice, groundnut oil and Indomie packs, he said: ‘Charity begins at home. I had the honour and pleasure of visiting and spending some quality time with a strong force of women, here today in Enugu. These women, who are widowed, stand united in their zest for life and support for one another. I was truly touched by their stories and will never forget this visit.’
