Frenchman Paul Le Guen has turned-down the Nigeria Football Federation’s offer to lead the Super Eagles as Technical Adviser.
Le Guen was yesterday recommended by the Technical and development committee of the Nigeria Football Federation for the Eagles job.
According to reports, the 52-year-old rejected the offer because the Glass House failed to meet his terms and conditions.
Herve Penot, a reporter at L’ Euipe, wrote via his handle @hpenot_lequipe: “Paul Le Guen rejects Nigeria. Frenchman insists the country’s FA (NFF) yet to meet terms & conditions to be coach.”
Le Guen’s conditions include:
His salary should be paid in dollars
He wants to come – in with his own coaches
He wants four year contract
He wants prompt payment of salary
He wants secure apartment in Nigeria
