Male American rapper wears female dress in new album cover

American rapper Young Thug posted the cover art for his new mixtape on Instagram on August 25 and it has whipped up a storm.

“Jeffery,” titled after his real name, Jeffery Williams, features the Atlanta rapper in a blue dress with tiered, cascading ruffles paired with a white button down shirt.

His face is covered with what appears to be a paper version of a non la, a traditional Vietnamese hat. The image was shot by photographer Garfield Larmond.
