’93 Days’ : Movie on Ebola continues global screening

Nigerians have continued to applaud the Nollywood flick ’93 Days’, a true life story about the virus Ebola, that spread like wildfire across some African nations.

The movie revealed efforts put together by both the federal and state government.

Filmmaker Bolanle Austen Peters commended Nigerians for uniting to fight against a common enemy and emphasized the importance of documenting the history of Nigeria.

Some cast and crew members say important stories in Nigeria such as the Ebola story needs to be told for posterity.

There were 19 confirmed Ebola cases and seven deaths, including Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian diplomat who allegedly brought the deadly virus into the country.

Nigeria lifted its state of emergency 93 days after he was first admitted to a hospital.
