FC Ifeanyi Uba lift 2016 Federation Cup Title

FC Ifeanyiubah have emerged champions of the 2016 Nigeria Federation Cup.

The Anambra warriors defeated Nasarawa United 5-4 on penalties at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos on Sunday.

Neither team could break the deadlock after 90 minutes of play.

FC Ifeanyiubah will now represent Nigeria in next year’s Caf Confederation Cup.

Rivers Angels defeated Bayelsa United 5-3 on Penalties in the women’s federation cup final on Sunday.

The match ended 1-1 in regulation time at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.

It was their 7th record title.
