Charly Boy wants to lead a 10,000-man march against corruption in Abuja

Veteran entertainer and social commentator Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, recently announced his intention to lead 10,000 persons on an anti-corruption walk.

He said in Abuja that the walk is to show his support for Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu  Buhari‘s anti-corruption campaign and will co-opt 10,000 ordinary Nigerians without political affiliations who will ‘occupy the nation’s capital city’.

Charly Boy has always been in the forefront to lead protests, for and against different causes. Incidentally, only two months ago he spoke out in support of the former first lady Patience Jonathan, whose bank account was frozen by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
