An official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) was allegedly beaten to pulp earlier today in the Ajah area of the state.
In a series of tweets on LASTMA’s Twitter handle, the agency narrated how their man was assaulted by the police officers on escort duties.
The policeman reportedly handcuffed the traffic officer and made him lie on the floor in his uniform while the attack continued.

The LASTMA official was later rescued and the officer arrested.
