Oshoala leads five Falcons in AWCON All-Star team

Arsenal Ladies star Asisat Oshoala is one of five Super Falcons stars that made the Official CAF All-Star team for this year’s African Women Championship in Cameroon.

The others are striker Desire Oparanozie, who scored the winning goal against Cameroon on Saturday, and defender Osinachi Ohale.

France-based Oparanozie was also the match winner in the semi-final against South Africa, while Oshoala finished as the tournament top scorer with six goals.

Goalkeeper Alaba Jonathan and striker Francisca Ordega made the substitutes’ bench.

Hosts and beaten finalists Cameroon equally provided five players on the squad with the tournament MVP Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene topping this list.
