Adamawa State Varsity sacks two lecturers

Authorities of Adamawa State University have sacked two senior lecturers for alleged examination malpractices to serve as deterrent to others.

The school’s vice Chancellor, Dr. Zira Zaruwa said this at the weekly executive meeting held at the premises of the institution in Mubi.

According to him, other major challenges confronting the varsity includes corruption, admission racketeering and insufficient funding.

Zaruwa regretted that the National University Commission shifted until May next year, the accreditation of 76 programmes run at institution because of insurgency.
