Rafiu Ladipo urges NFF to seek private sponsorship for national teams

A Nigerian football stakeholder, Rafiu Ladipo has advised the Nigeria Football Federation to seek private sponsorship for the national teams in in the coming year.

The football federation had recently blamed the economic recession in the country as reason for not being able to pay salaries of coaches and allowances of players.

Ladipo who is the President General of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club has slammed the football administrators for their total dependence on government for funding.

He wants the NFF to find other means of generating funds to run the sport.
