TVC E. An Anglican pastor 65-year-old, threatened to kill his wife because she denied him his conjugal rights. According to The Chronicle, Dewa appeared in court on Tuesday, January 11th, in Bulawayo for violating a peace order not to physically and verbally abuse his wife.
His 38-year-old wife had applied for a peace order against him in 2016. She accused him of physically, emotionally and psychologically abusing her.
The Zimbabwean priest claimed his wife denied him conjugal rights and called her a ‘gold digger’ during his court appearance. He said: “She is disrespectful and has become the man in my house. She no longer treats me as her husband as the case before.”
The magistrate however, advised the couple to seek counselling. If a man of God is saying this, what should the rest of us do?
