Rihanna has never been one to shy away from dropping some home truths when it comes to politics, and President Trump’s latest move of imposing a temporary ban on Muslims from some countries entering the US has got the star taking to Twitter to denounce his actions.
But Azealia Banks had a few things to say about Rihanna’s solidarity with US Immigrants.
“Is she even American???? Can she even vote?” Banks wrote.
She added: “We started a war we HAVE to finish or it will finish us. President Trump is just finishing the job.”
Rihanna responded by serving her own sass on Instagram, posting a photo in support of refugees – and against Banks – with the caption: “that face you make when you an immigrant.”
She later added another picture, featuring a face covered by part of the American flag, which she captioned: “the face you make when you screaming in an empty room.”
Rihanna added the hashtags #stayawayfromthechickens and #iheartnuggets, prompting her fans to flood Banks’s Instagram with chicken emojis…
