Former Commissioner of Lands, Enugu State, Okey Ogbodo and the Enugu State Government are at loggerheads over access roads around Agbani area of the state.
While the state government vowed, yesterday, that it would pull down the perimeter walls put up by the former commissioner and enforce the necessary sanctions on him for encroaching into Umuchu and Umueze streets in Agbani after the expiration of the grace period, the former Commissioner insisted that he would seek redress in court should anything happen to the walls he put.
Ogbodo, a commissioner during the Chimaroke Nnamani administration erected perimeter walls over Umuchu and Umueze Streets, thereby blocking access into them.
