Duro-Ladipo’s ‘Ajagun Nla’ set to make stage debut

Ajagun Nla by Ladepo Duro-Ladipo is coming to the stage.
Following its recent adaptation into the English language, the stage production will make its debut during the 2017 Easter Celebrations

Ajagun Nla, originally written in the Yoruba Language, is a play that documents the struggles, triumph and socio-political growth of the Yoruba race.

For producers, the adaptation of the play text into a stage performance is significant in view of the present socio-political reality in Nigeria.

Ajagun Nla hopes to revive the glory of live theatre, celebrate heroes of the industry, and successfully produce a project that the art community would be proud of.
