ASUU laments salary shortfall

The South West Zone of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU has called on the federal government to put an end to the salary shortfall lecturers have been experiencing.

The Asuu leaders explained in a meeting in Lagos that University of Lagos had a shortfall of 125 million naira, while the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta had a shortfall of 55.5 million naira.

Professor Olusiji Sowande further explained that the Lagos state university is yet to implement the Earned Academic Allowance since 2012.
