FELA! Reveals Kuti’s life as an artist and human rights activist and celebrates his pioneering music in what has been hailed as one of the most exciting and vital stage experiences in recent memory.

Sahr Ngaujah, one of the cast members of the Tony-Award-winning Broadway musical, plays Fela. He recounts the research he had to undertake to enable him play Abami Eda, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

For the first time a Nigerian actor Olu Olutayo is one of the cast.

Fela was conceived by Bill T. Jones.
