2017 BET Awards: Skepta nominated for ‘Best International Act

Image result for 2017 BET Awards: Skepta nominated for 'Best International Act: Europe Category'Musician Joseph Adenuga popularly known as Skepta has been nominated for the ‘Best International Act: Europe’ category of the 2017 edition of the BET Awards.

The artist took the ‘Best International Act: UK’ award at last year’s ceremony.

The nominees in the Best International Act: Africa are Aka, Davido, Nasty C, Stonebwoy, Tekno, Wizkid and Mr Eazi.

American singer, Beyonce leads the nominee list with seven nominations in categories like Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Video of the Year and Album of the Year.

Bruno Mars follows closely with five nominations, while Chance the Rapper, Solange and Migos have four nominations each.

Gospel singer, Kirk Franklin also grabbed a nomination for ‘Best Gospel/Inspirational Award’, for his song, ‘My World Needs You’ featuring Sarah Reeves, Tasha Cobbs and Tamela Mann.

The BET Award is scheduled to hold on June the 25th at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
