I wasn’t confident to play ‘Ogene’ for flavour – Zoro

Nigerian artiste with stage name “Zoro swagbag” who got popular through his song “ogene” was live on #WakeUpNigeria with Titi and Yomi.

Zoro swag bag who has worked with artistes like Flavour, Falz and Phyno while speaking on the show said that he was shy and wasn’t confident to play the song for Flavour.

“I was shy and not confident enough to play ‘Ogene’ for Flavour because I felt it was local. I played the initial song I wanted to record and when I Played ‘Ogene’, I looked away and he asked who is the owner of the song and I said me then he said this is the jam. So I had to removed my second verse for him to record his verse. For phyno, he’s a very good friend of mine so it wasn’t difficult working with him.”

He added that working with these artistes bring different energies into what he does.

He then concluded by exposing that after his just released song ‘landlady’, he is having a new song with Flavour in two weeks time.
