Modupe, a female photographer and events planner who met her husband in Bauchi NYSC camp, shares her love story as she marks 5th wedding anniversary with her husband.

Read their story below:

I MET MY HUSBAND 3rd day in the CAMP.
It all started in the #nysc camp (2009/2010 Batch A) Bauchi State.
As usual as you come in 1st, 2nd and even 3rd day are for registrations, getting your kits, being threatened by the soldiers calling you OTONDO, if you’re walking you’re wrong. Double up double up! then end up being friends, meeting old and new friends, morning drilling and all.
Who remember that song:
Them go born mumu them go born mumu if corper marry corper them go born mumu???? And really don’t like to serve in the north cos all life as being in the north so I love to be posted to either Lagos or Port Harcourt.
So the 3rd day was the swearing in and what I did was just to ask for a PEN from this guy to sign my oath of service form and that was all.
He as being my best friend, brother, father, mentor, partner in crime and to crown it up my one and only sweetheart. I love you so dearly if am opportune to come back to this planet earth I will choose you again and again.
What else can I ask for when He as given me the bunch of key to the doors of life, you’re a gift from ABOVE.
Having you is like having the whole world. I bless the day I met you

Happy 5th anniversary to us darling. #camp#corper #nigeriancorpers #nysc

    THE NOBLE CALL…

“It is your loyalty to your nation
That determines your royalty in your nation.”

    Arise, O compatriot!
    Arise, O compatriot!!
    Arise, O compatriot!!!
Nigerians have a call you must obey!
Nigerians have a ball in your court that you must play!
Because Nigerians are groaning and moaning in pains each day…
While their leaders are enjoying and snubbing their cry all the day!
Nigerians are yearning and yelling for good successors everyday…
While they are being oppressed and suppressed by elected oppressors all the day!
Nigerians are clamouring and calling for the restoration of their glories…
While the wicked corruptors are infusing and injecting frustrations into their stories!

    Oh…Nigeria!
A nation seeking for dogged builders!
A nation seeking for hurricane transformers!
A nation in dire need of men who can take the bull by the horn…
Men who can take substantial bold steps,
To launch this nation into the realms of plenty and glory!
Men and women who can rise up and take influential strides
That will provoke uncommon internal and external honour for our nation!
Men and women who can stand for honesty, fight for liberty,
Defend our unity and war for our sovereignty even beyond mortality!

These are the men and women we seek!
These are the leaders we earnestly desire to pick!

Therefore I call on you today!
    To awake!
    To arise and shine!
    For there is no time!
For the time for better life is now!

Because our able men and women are being wasted in our society!
The worth of our nation is being roasted in our community!
The treasures of our nation are being choked out from our vicinity!
    The vibrant future of our nation is at the peak of bleak;
    Suffering in pains and chains!
    Wallowing in penury and bigotry!
    Swimming in illegality and inequality!
    Wailing in confusion and deception!
    Dying of starvation and dehydration!
    Engulf with frustration and stagnation!
And cut-off from the realm of illumination and civilization!

Indeed, there must be a way out!
    It’s either a boom or a burst!
    It’s either a make or a break!

    And the way out;
Is for us, the citizens of Nigeria to lay hold of our right
And utilize the obligations conferred on us by our nation.
    Because All genuine patriotic Nigerians
Have the sole dogged responsibility to save and protect Nigerians
From the hands of pretentious and malicious nationals!
From the hands of ruthless and merciless pen-robbers!
Who parade themselves as patriotic Nigerians,
Who take pleasure in eating up their legacies
While storing garbage as national delicacies!

    To be frank!
Nigerians are tired and fed-up of fake nationals
Who are only interested in their quest for power!
Who sees Nigeria government as a business enterprise
    To amass personal wealth,
    Without considering the detrimental effects
And plight of the masses that employed them…!

    This must stop!
    And it must stop now!

However this is why Nigerians are earnestly waiting,
    Eagerly panting and expectantly expecting
The emergence of true uncommon leaders in our nation!

Uncommon Leaders who will take us all to this New Nigeria,
Where living is not suffering and struggling
    But enjoying and celebrating!
Where everyone is as important as the President of Nigeria!
Where everyone has the privilege to live healthy and wealthy!
Where life is better and sweeter for everyone
    Even beyond our national borders!

Therefore we must rise up and stand boldly
And work selflessly to make this nation the envy of other nations,
By making this nation the pride and glory of other nations!
Because it is our civic duty and responsibility
To make Nigeria healthier, wealthier and Better for us all!

    Long live Nigeria!
    Long live our Fatherland!
    And God bless Nigerians!
