My husband & children understand kissing is part of my job – Ashionye Raccah

Nollywood actress, Ashionye Raccah who is also a writer, producer/director and singer, was up on #WakeUpNigeria this morning with Titi and Yomi explaining why she refused the role of kissing in Nollywood movies when she became a mother.

Speaking on how she has been able to cope with writing directing and acting, the actress said;

“I didn’t go to a film school, but I majored in Mass Communication and that has helped me in producing and directing films. The stories I write are more of what we experience today in the society. I make sure everyone can relate to my story.” She included when asked that the major challenge she is faced with just like other producers is ‘fund’

The mother of two who still looks stunning in shape attributed her elegance to exercise, not eating late and partitioning her food.

Ashionye revealed that at some point she became paranoid in a good way when she became a mother.

“I didn’t feel safe kissing on set and still come home to kiss my children on the lip. It was more of a choice to me then but now my children are grown and they understand that kissing is part of my job, so does my husband.”

she revealed that though music is her first love, she loves the art and if she the oppourtunity comes, she would love to go back to broadcasting.
