Popular V-logger, OAP, fashionista, best selling writer and soon to be actor, Toke Makinwa spoke live on TVC’s Entertainment show, #WakeUpNigeria about her live and how fashion is not bringing pressure but people looking up to her is the pressure.
Admitting that people look up to her in fashion, she explained that she likes to have fun with what she wears.
“Comfort to me is the most fashionable thing. I like to have fun with how I look. It’s not about wearing something expensive, it’s about having fun with it.”
Speaking further on how people look up to her, Yomi highlighted that she has a massive social media fan page and asked how she has been able to manage such spaces.
“I feel humbled and blessed to have that sort of impact. When people look up to me for what I do, that’s a whole lot of responsibility and I think that’s where the real pressure is, not fashion.”

Speaking about her Vlog, she admits that thousands of fans who look up to her and follow her every move, she explains that it is where the pressure lies because she has to be extra careful with what she does and her every move, owning up to her mistakes as a lot of people look up to her.
Toke Makinwa who is on set for a movie “Market Must Sell” also highlighted that she has an organisation that helps the less privileged persons in the society.
