The shooting took place in the Kennedy Road and Glamorgan Avenue area.

A police spokesperson said the victim got out of a car and walked into the lobby of a building before he was approached by two suspects armed with handguns.

The victim was shot at close range multiple times so that he didn’t stand a chance. The suspects then ran off but not before one of them wiped a door clean of fingerprints. Soares was taken to hospital but later died of his injuries.
