#WakeUpNigeria: Recipe for ‘roasted potato wedge porridge’

Chef Miyonse on #WakeUpNigeria, showed cooking steps on preparing ‘Roasted Potato Wedge Porridge’ with the following ingredients:

  • Seasoning cubes
  • salt
  • potatoes {Irish}
  • Red pepper/ Tomatoes
  • Spinach
  • Palm oil
  • Olive oil
  • Chicken tig
  • Black pepper


  • Boil chicken
  • Cook palm oil a bit {do not bleach}
  • Blend your pepper
  • After blending, pour it in the palm oil
  • Add sliced onions
  • Wash potatoes with jacket
  • Make four halves from each potatoe
  • Place potatoes on a baking board
  • Add little bit of salt and black pepper
  • Sprinkle olive oil on it
  • Put it in the oven for about 30-40 minutes.
  • Put down the bleached pepper and onion
  • Add a bit of it in a dry pan
  • Add chicken stock to bleached pepper
  • Add seasoning cubes and salt to taste
  • Add roasted wedges to the pepper
  • Cook for 10 minutes {stir while cooking}
  • Add spinach and let it cook for another 2 minutes.

How to grill chicken

  • Boil the chicken well
  • Put your chicken in the oven
  • Your food is ready to serve.
