Rounding up the year in style, Davido’s new found romance with Wizkid, extended to his ’30 Billion’ concert held yesterday at the Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Wizkid and Davido had publicly reconciled after Wizkid brought Davido on stage at his headline concert: ‘Wizkid The Concert’.
It’s safe to say 2017 is the year Nigerians experienced the best of reconciliation in the entertainment industry. Wizkid’s entrance wasn’t the only high profile reunion onstage. Davido also reunited the defunct group Mo’Hits for one last performance. Led by Don Jazzy, the group comprising of D’banj, Wande Coal, D’Prince, Dr Sid, and Kay Switch made a comeback, performing some of their hit tracks.
Davido called Wizkid “My new best friend,” before they went on to perform Starboy’s latest hit record ‘Manya.’
Wizkid later lead the crowd in the chant “say OBO, say Starboy…”
Nigerians are at this point anticipating something from the duo in 2018 as Davido constantly chanted at Wizkid’s concert and the 30 billion concert, ‘2018, them go hear am.’
There were also performances from 2face Idibia, Daddy Showkey, Reminisce, Olamide, Falz and others.
