Controversial ‘Red Dress’ designer has been sued

Issues surrounding the controversial ‘red dress’ continue to surface, it has been discovered that legal actions have been taken by the bride against the designer, who gave the bride’s wedding reception dress to actress, Mercy Aigbe for her birthday photo-shoot.

The bride had earlier in the year, called out the designer Maryam Elisha for giving the dress, of which she bought the fabric and paid fully for, to Mercy Aigbe.

The designer in turn publicly apologised to both the bride and Mercy claiming that there was a dispatch error. Mercy Aigbe who had been silent, finally revealed that she paid a stylist to carry out all transactions and she had never even met the designer or seen the dress before the photo-shoot.
