A PhD student at the University of Lagos identified as Fatai Mutiu Abolade has lost his life as they were reportedly crushed to death by a train along Ikeja railway.
According to reports, the incident occurred yesterday at about 7:30 am. An identity card found on Fatai showed he is a student of UNILAG, with a PhD matriculation number.
Eyewitness at the scene revealed that Fatai was so distracted with his phone that he didn’t hear when the train was coming. According to some of the eyewitnesses, he was on earphones. Unfortunately Fatai’s phone was stolen immediately after the accident occurred.
