“Nigerians should unelect those at the coven of thieves come 2019” – Omoyele Sowore

Presidential aspirant and Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore has urged Nigerians the unelect leaders in the National assembly and vote for youths with integrity in the upcoming 2019 election.

The young and vibrant presidential aspirant who has been an activist for over 30 years, was a guest on TVC’s flagship program, Your View, where he discussed ‘Youths in politics’.

Sowore speaking on why he should be voted into power, talked about the failure of security in Nigeria, the laziness of leaders & corruption going on in the Nation Assemble which he calls, “The coven of thieves”.

“I have 30 years of content, 30 years of experience fighting for the betterment of the country, starting from when I was admitted into the university of Lagos at age 18 in 1989. I joined hand to fight what was Nigeria’s biggest problem at that time which was the Military.

“I fought consistently to drive the military out of power and since then, I have assisted in bringing about democracy to Nigeria. I have ALSO strengthened democracy in Nigeria.”  He said.

Speaking further Sowore who agreed to the fact that he alone cannot take on leadership and make a change, urged that young people who are responsible and have integrity to take on power.

“The opportunity has opened up not only to elect me as the president Federal Republic of Nigeria, but to unelect the people who are operating at the coven of thieves – which is the a Senate and the House of Representatives.”

Sowore and his team have touring Nigeria with his team, holding meeting to convince Nigerians that he can do a better job than the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of the 2019 election.

Just recently, Sowore met with the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II.

He told the emir that Nigerian youths are tired of being blocked by the old politicians in governance, stressing that that is the main reason he launched his presidential aspiration.

Sowore added that as an aspirant in the coalition party, he could turn things around in Nigeria within the shortest period.
