Copyright infringement: Danfo Drivers begin manhunt on Tekno

Teckno is in trouble for sampling Danfo Drivers hit single Kpolongo, on his latest single titled ‘Jogodo’.

The Veteran music duo, Mad Melon and Mountain Black popularly known as ‘Danfo Drivers’ have come out to accuse Tekno of intellectual property theft.

Well Tekno is not the only musician that has sampled old records in his song, but the Danfo Drivers are paraniod because the song sampled by Tekno without their permission.

Tekno just released this his buzzing track some weeks ago and the buzzing track is having massive airplay.

The song has a major cut from the classic street anthem titled Kpolongo, which was released by Danfo Drivers in 2005/2006 and it was quite a jam back then.

In a recent interview with Wazobia TV, the duo on the red carpet of the headies, said they are in Lagos to hunt for Tekno and collect the money/royalties he owes them for sampling their song without permission.
