World Cup 2018: Senegal supporters clean up match after victory of Poland

Senegal is the first African team to win their first match in the 2018 World Cup and instead of partying, some Senegal supporters were seen cleaning up stadium.

Videos going viral shows some supporters cleaning up the stadium after their match.

One clip shared by the Argentinian TV channel TyC Sports showed fans scouring the stands for rubbish and assembling it in a single pile. It has been viewed more than four million times.

“Senegal pulled off a historic victory,” the channel said. “But instead of partying in the minutes after the end of the game, they tasked themselves with cleaning up their section before leaving. #Respect.”

By defeating Poland in their first game, Senegal became the first African country to win their first game at the 2018 World Cup.

Senegal saved not just their country but the African continent from shame.

Recall that other African countries present at the 2018 World Cup have lost their first matches and Egypt is the latest to lose.
