Drake becomes the first artiste to hit 10 billion streams on Apple music

Less than a month since the release of his fifth studio album, Scorpion, Award winning Canadian rapper, Drake has made a record breaking achievement of getting 10 billion streams on Apple music and being the first featured artist to do so.

Contrary to reports that claimed Drake was missing out on over a half million dollars due to not making Scorpion available in the form of physical copies for purchase – 10 billion streams seems to be equal if not more profitable than the projected income of physical albums sales.

Apple music has since congratulated the rapper for his new achievement.
