The ladies of Your View recognised among the "Most Influential People of African Descent"

The hosts of TVC’s chat-fest show, Your View are being recognised as part of the Most Influential People of African Descent – (MIPAD) in support of the United Nations International Decade for People of African Descent (UN IDPAD).

In an exclusive reception and closing gong ceremony held at the Nigerian Stock Exchange, a couple of the hosts of Your View were present.

The event was attended by influential people from around Africa as recognised by MIPAD.

Representing the ladies of Your View at the event was – Morayo Afolabi Brown, Tope Mark Odigie, Nyma Akashat Zibiri and Jumoke Alawode James.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Stock Exhange, Oscar N. Onyema congratulated the honourees and revealed that NSE is doing a lot to create access for SMEs, Big enterprise and companies.

Let me formally welcome you on behalf of the Council and Management of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Let me also congratulate you for been selected as part of the Most Influential Africans. It goes to show the quality of work that you do, so please accept our hearty congratulations.

The NSE is the biggest trade in Africa. There is a lot we are doing to create access for SMEs, big enterprises and companies we call the African champions – those companies expanding in Africa, and we think that a number of you that are sitted here in a few years from now, will be african giants in the years to come. We want to be part of that journey.

After the event, Morayo representing the ladies of Your View, joined a couple of other influential people to ring the closing bell at the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
