Shatta Wale mocks Sarkodie as he gifts himself a benz for his birthday

Ghanaian Dancehall star, Shatta Wale marked his 34th birthday on Wednesday, October 17. After a successful launch concert for his ‘The Reign’ album, Shatta Wale had every reason to celebrate and he did so in grand style.

The Dancehall stalwart had a lot of activities lined up for the celebration and also spoiled himself with a brand new Mercedes Benz as a birthday present.

Already, Shatta Wale has registered the car and the customised plate has got everyone laughing on social media. He decided to register the car ‘ADVICE-1-18’.

In a new ‘diss’ song titled “Advice”, Sarkodie doled out loads of insults to Shatta Wale, cautioning the dancehall artiste to be wary of him. Sarkodie called Shatta Wale names and said though he boasts of riches, he is actually poor.

“Who gives a f*** with your chicken change property?”, Sarkodie is heard saying. The award-winning rapper further described Shatta Wale as a fool who is always making noise about money even though his bank balance cannot buy a brand new car. Apart from ‘dissing’ Shatta Wale used parts of the song to speak highly of himself and how he wants to leave a footprint on the Ghanaian music scene before he eventually retires.

But days after the song was released, Shatta Wale held a concert to launch his Reign album with a reported record attendance of over 20,000 at the Fantasy Dome.
