Irish Potatoes with Minced Meat Sauce (Recipe)…Perfect Blend For Breakfast

Chef Ofe Fadeyi was on TVC’s Wake Up Nigeria to show us the simple steps to making Irish Potatoes with minced meat sauce.
Note that the nutritional content of potatoes can vary depending on the variety and how they are prepared. For example, frying potatoes adds more calories and fat than baking them. It’s also important to know that the skin of potatoes contains a great amount of vitamins and minerals; peeling potatoes can significantly reduce their nutritional content. Don’t also forget that meat is an excellent source of various vitamins and minerals. These include vitamin B12, zinc, selenium, iron, niacin, and vitamin B6. So you see? You are about to consume a really healthy meal.
- Irish potatoes
- Minced meat
- Pepper mix
- Spring Onions
- Vegetable oil
- Fresh Rosemary
First, you need to wash and boil your potatoes, with or without the peel.
While that is going on, heat up vegetable oil in a fry pan, use olive oil if you are extra healthy or if you are on a fit diet.
Next, fry your sliced onions, then turn in your chopped garlic followed by spices, the chopped up meat and your desired seasoning.
You could also fry tomatoes, pepper, vegetables, sweet corn or whatever you wish to add.
Your food is ready to be served.
