Three Islamic clerics were paraded yesterday by AIG Lawal Shehu Zone II, Onikan, Lagos for allegedly being in possession of fresh human heart and body parts.
He alleged that the clerics were members of a syndicate that specialized in using human parts for rituals.
Shehu said:
“On December 10, about 9:45 am, information was received by the command that Alfa Mustapha and his cohorts, who specialized in exhuming bodies and removing their parts, were noticed around Isabo area of Abeokuta, Ogun State. Detectives from ZIS were detailed to investigate. Four suspects were arrested with a fresh human heart on stop and search, while exhibits of a bunch of human fleshes were recovered,” said the AIG.
However, the investigation is still on, to establish where they got it and to dig deep also.
