Genevieve Nnaji newly released movie, Lion Heart as been sold to Netflix, a movie site. Genny had a difficult time at first with movie distribution companies in Nigeria. The Imo state born actress has just landed over $3.8 million (USD) from the sale of her ‘Lion Heart’ to Netflix.
In current dollar to Naira exchange rate, that amount is N,385,100,000. We don’t know yet if big producers such as Emem Isong, Mo Abudu has made such staggering amount from their movies.
Genevieve continue to make her mark in Nollywood as the biggest star to come out of that industry, Her closest rival, Omotola Jalade Ekehinde is also doing well for herself.
Genevieve will be making her way into the team 40 age grade this May. She is from Mbaise, Imo state. She is also a proud mother of one grown up daughter. Don’t be too shocked if she turns a grandmother soon!
