Church of Satan denies alleged ”satanic plot” to remove CJN Walter Onnoghen

The Church of Satan recently reacted to a statement made by a democracy group that stated they’ll resist ‘satanic plot’ to remove the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.

Justice Onnoghen is being arraigned by the Code of Conduct Bureau following a petition on January 7, alleging non-declaration and false declaration of his assets between 2005 and 2016.

The petition lodged by Anti-Corruption and Research-Based Data Initiative drew the CCB attention to what it called serious concerns bordering on flagrant violations of the law and constitution of Nigeria by the CJN.

In view of this circumstance, the federal government asked the CJN to vacate office over alleged corrupt practices.

A pro-democracy organisation, Coalition in Defence of Nigerian Democracy and Constitution, CDNDC, has told the President Muhammadu Buhari regime to perish the idea of forcing the Chief Justice of Nigerian, CJN, Walter Onnoghen out of office or be prepared for a popular resistance.

The group described the move as “a satanic plot devised by desperate men in power.” Daily Post reports.
