How Davido reacted to the postponement of 2019 Elections by INEC

David Adeleke, popular Nigerian musician, Davido reacted to the postponement of presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu on Saturday morning announced the shift of the 2019 presidential and governorship election by a week.

Mahmood attributed the postponement of all the scheduled elections to logistic and operational problems.

The singer who has affiliations with the People’s Democratic Party, reacted on social media. He said;

According to him, “Delay of election is not denial.”

On his Twitter page, Davido wrote: “The last President did the same no cause for alarm. To God be the glory.Delay is not denial.”

“There’s nothing wrong in wanting to be President for one more week .. the seat sweet.”
