Oscars 2019 Winners – The full list

The 2019 Oscars award took place on Sunday, 25th February 2019 at the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, California, United States.

The ceremony progressed without a host or hostess, “Green Book” won best picture, and Spike Lee won his first competitive Oscar, for best adapted screenplay.

Also Rami Malek won best actor for “Bohemian Rhapsody” and Olivia Colman won best actress for “The Favourite.” Alfonso Cuarón won best director and best cinematography for “Roma,” which also won best foreign language film.

Two “Black Panther” crew members, Hannah Beachler (production design) and Ruth E. Carter (costumes), became the first African-Americans to receive Oscars in their categories.

 

Lady Gaga also won her first Oscar, taking the trophy for best original song for her power ballad “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born.”
