South African singer, Babes Wodumo breaks silence following assault from boyfriend

South African music star, Wodumo was assaulted by her boyfriend, DJ Mampintsha unknowing to him that he was recorded on Instagram live.

DJ Mampintsha has come under fire since the video went viral on social media.

In the video, you’d spot the singer being assaulted by the disc jockey, repeatedly. The video which has since gone viral has been criticized by everyone who has watched it.

The video clip comes nine months after Metro FM in South Africa presenter Masechaba Ndlovu broke the news of the star’s alleged abuse at the hands of her beau Mampintsha during a radio interview with Wodumo.

Following the viral video of South African singer Babes Wodumo being assaulted by her boyfriend, the singer has finally broken her silence.

 

The singer’s management has released a short statement via saying;

“Unfortunately Babes won’t be able to have any interviews for now as she is still emotional about the situation. She will issue a statement on her social media platform later today.”

Mampintsha is currently under fire on social media and even the South African government have even reacted to the video, slamming the disc jockey for assaulting Wodumo.
