Adekunle Gold loses dad 5 months after getting appointment with Lagos state government

Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has suffered a terrible loss as his father passed on late last night.

Singer Simi’s husband, Adekule Gold who recently rejoiced over the appointment of his father as a new Permanent Secretary in Lagos state, is currently mourning him 5 months after.

The singer’s father, Prince Hakeem Adeyemi Kosoko is the Permanent Secretary of Education District 4, he died during the night after suffering an undisclosed ailment.

 

Mr Kosoko who was appointed as a new Permanent Secretary in in December, 2018 was flown abroad recently due to the ailment and his position had to be temporarily filled by a replacement for over a month.

He recently returned to Nigeria to recover but he passed on hours ago.

A teacher who works under Mr Kosoko’s district in Lagos revealed that his death was announced to the teachers in Education District 4 this morning. The cause of death has not been revealed.

He is survived by his wife, children, including Adekunle Gold, and other family members.
