Killer of female UNIZIK student arrested by police in Anambra

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested the suspected murderer of Chinasa Pauline Agbata, a 22-year-old 300 Level Linguistics student of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK, Awka.

 

According to police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, the suspect, Onudili Sontochukwu, was arrested following discreet investigation.

He said:

“It would be recalled that on the 20/3/2019, one Chinasa Pauline Agbata ‘f’, student of UNIZIK, was murdered and dumped at the school gate same date at about 7:30pm.

Following the incident, Police detectives attached to the Command Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) launched aggressive manhunt of perpetrators and arrested one Onudili Sontochukwu ‘m’ aged 25years on the 2/6/2019.”

He said the suspect is currently corporating with Police to help unravel circumstances surrounding the incident.

 

Speaking of UNIZIK, whose hostel was burnt down in a recent fire incident, has cried out as she lost all her properties in the room.

The UNIZIK student, Chinma Prestigous, further disclosed that fire incident was said to be triggered by electrical fault and everything she acquired from 100 level was burnt to ashes.
