Also, the General Manager, Public Affairs department, NERC cleared the air on reports making the rounds that the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission has approved a new energy tariff for electricity distribution companies (DisCos), which invariably meant that Nigerians have to pay more for electricity consumption.
