Xenophobia: South African High Commission in Nigeria has shutdown its offices over fear of reprisal attack

The acting High Commissioner, of South Africa to Nigerian, Amb. Bobby Moroe in a chat with Punchng revealed that he has directed that all operations of the commission should be shut down until the situation gets better.

According to him;

“I directed that the Mission should be closed until the situation improves. We heard that South Africans were being pulled out of vehicles and attacked. We feel unsafe and that is why I directed that the mission should close down until further notice.”
