A Los Angeles non-profit organization called Kooking 4 Kids has stated that they will gladly accept Tekashi’s 69 previously rejected two hundred thousand dollars donation.
This is however coming just days after the No Kid Hungry Foundation declined the rappers proposed donation, stating that his activities do not align with their mission and values.
Executive Director of Kooking 4 Kids, Keith Johnson reportedly stated that as long as Tekashi is trying to do a good deed by feeding hungry kids, it shouldn’t matter about his past.
He stated, “If there is an individual that wants to help address hunger in Los Angeles, we welcome it. How that person wants to live their life is for them to decide.”
He also acknowledged that while every organization has the right to determine who it will accept donations from, donations to his organization are vital for it to survive, so he’s not picky about the origins of funds.
